2017: A New Home for Cultural Memory
Looking back at the opening of the new museum.
According to the museum website, the new Xiangxi Prefecture Museum and intangible cultural heritage museum opened to visitors on 20 September 2017, in the Wuling Mountain (Xiangxi) Tujia and Miao Cultural Park.
A museum connects the past with the present, and a place with its visitors. Exhibitions, objects and cultural interpretation open new ways to discover Xiangxi.
